A los 82 años, Leopoldo Federico continúa con una vigencia incesante: sigue al frente de su orquesta que lleva medio siglo de conciertos, grabó un disco con cuarteto y fue premiado por sus solos de bandoneón. At 82 years old, Leopoldo Federico continues to have an incessant relevance: he remains at the head of his orchestra, which has half a century of concerts behind it; he has recorded a disk with a quartet and has been honored for his bandoneon solos. What’s more, he is forever receiving distinctions and he chairs the AADI (Argentine Musical Interpretors Association). Distanced from the recognition and the concerts, he says he can’t believe everything that is happening to him. An interview with the Number One bandoneon player in tango.

Más allá de lo mucho que disfrutamos de sus diversas expresiones artísticas, volvemos a agradecerles este voto recurrente de confianza en lo que hacemos.

In spite of the bow of the 2009 wind, we received a number of discs, books and entertainment invitations as abundant as auspicious. Many of them have found along the length of the year. Others, we will try to acknowledge these pages and in the following editions. Regardless of how much I enjoy your various artistic expressions, we again thank this recurrent vote of confidence in what we do.
